I've got a '70 Challenger R/T vert. The biased ply pressure is on the low side for radials. I'm running Goodyear 225/70/14s all around. They're pretty close to the same size as the originals.

What pressures are you guys running?

Also interested in what '74 B and E bodies tire pressure stickers said from the factory with factory radials.

Thanks!

When I had my Oz Charger and ran Cooper Cobra's I ran them at 32 psi.

We are brothers and sisters doing time on the planet for better or worse. I'll take the better, if you don't mind.

I work at a tire shop and have many Mopar clients.
Typical rule of thumb when is whatever the bias tire placard reads, add 6 psi for radials.
If the car calls for 26 psi,go to 32 with radials.
Most Mopars called for 24 psi up front,so go 30 .
Just a couple examples that work well with stock original or restored cars..
Cars that had any suspension or chassis mods or larger wheels & lo-pro tires will have to be set differently to work with said mods..
Hope this helps.
(BTW,yes my wagon is wearing the bias-ply in the first pic,LOL!! )

Do a smokey burnout!

Full width of the tire, burnt rubber = good contact patch and correct pressure. Too much pressure will leave a narrow burnt rubber patch in the middle of the tire track, while too low pressure will leave 2 burnt rubber streaks on the outside edges of the tire track(s), but nothing in the middle. This is pretty much trial and error, and can vary a lot depending on tire size AND width of the rim.
