The photo is of the area just in front of the drivers rear tire.

Is this area available. or is it part of the rear quarter panel?

This is part of the rear quarter, once you remove the outer skin,
you are gonna have a rust hole in the inner structure also.

So which panel is required? Is there one available?

They dont sell a patch for it but AMDs full quarters will have the section. Depending on how far the rust goes you may need the rocker panel too.

The rocker panel goes all the way back to the wheel house. Then the quarter panel is put on over the rocker. So both layers of metal are rusted out. You can fabricate a patch for the rocker because the quarter panel will cover it when complete.

This is what it will likely look like when you cut the quarter skin off. This was replaced with a used section but I don't have a pic after it was done.

Are you on your own with inner wheel well, too?

I was giving a quote to a customer few days ago on Dart,I can tell you that AMD had inner and outer rockers for Dart, most likely they are the same for Duster

I can't remember if they offer the inner wheel well but I used a new outer one on this car.
Also remember the rusted out part in the above pic is actually the OUTER rocker. It's just stepped down and the quarter skin goes over it.

Here's a pic of the outer wheelhouse. It was an AMD piece and fit nicely. The quarter skin and the trunk extension were older Goodmark parts and required quite a bit of massaging to make them work.

This is good stuff.

I picked up the Paintucation dvd on panel replacement and am itching to start cutting.

So far I am stunned at how much Bondo is on the back of these quarters.
