Most likely going to have to add about 5cc's to my chambers to lower compression, Is this hard to do? Are there any good articles out there?

Find two sacrificial valves...put a head gasket on the head and scribe/mark a line where it needs to be opened, unshrouded, etc. You will see what I mean. Leave the valves in place as you do your grinding/cutting.

I found an article on either hot rod or car craft, cant remember which.

You working on the IE heads?

Haven't picked a head gasket yet, but i'll most like run the factory fel-pro blue, The quench is not great, around .060"-.065", I was going to install a .061" gasket to lower it to 10.3, but that'll just make whatever quench i have worse, plus those MLSs are 160.00

There Dart iron eagles, 64cc chambers, pistons are FTs with 4 valve relieves, sit around .025" below.

Just for the record, this is a sbc 406
