again, no, that is how they are built.
The radiator mouting brackets are factory set up so one side is deeper than the other so the fan is parallel to the rad since the engine is cocked.

Yep, you and 64hemi330sedan are correct. I can tell my engine and tranny are installed correct. I was just wondering why the heck ma Mopar did it that way. My friend, with a 70 Cuda, said i was crazy, that it wasn't spose to be that way. So back and forth we went, no one the winner.

early b's have the traditional 2 1/2" offset to the passenger side with the back of the engine and tranny angled slightly towards the driver side. situation normal, your o.k. i believe u-joint angle is the reason.

Thank you. Now I know the offset, and that this is typical of the early to mid B bodies.

They talked about it on Muscle Car one episode. I think when they did the "Challenger Overkill" project. It is indeed due to u-joint geometry. If a driveline is perfectly straight, apparently, the needle rollers inside the u-joint caps won't roll and the will wear out faster. GM's offset is up and down. Mopar's is side to side

I always assumed it was to offset the engine's torque.
