I'm wondering if I need a vacuum pump with my twin turbo build (street/strip) car looking for 1000rwhp? W9 headed stroker.

i dont know if my W9 motor will wont a vac pump but its getting one.I believe to get max HP from one you should have the right ring pack

my rings are set up for boost... I have just heard mixed opinions on the subject

need one NO,are they awesome to have YES,if u like no leaks whats so ever!and in most cases will help in the hp dept i have one and will always from now on. good luck w ur build it sounds good.

You don't need one.I have never ran one on my car.But if you run alcohol they make it nice for keeping your oil from getting milky.They do help power sometimes not always and you will have atleast a $1,000 bucks plus alot less room.

If your going to put one on it put the best on it.There is no better pump than a star vacuum pump.

That's what I'm talking about... Some say yes I need one others say no. I'm running e85 and most likely no more than 16lbs of boost.
