E body steering box is at a different angle & in theory shouldn't be used.... That said I swapped a 70 Charger K into a 70 Cuda years ago & it worked fine..... Clear as mud...

I would stick with a 67-70 member, but if you are going to use any listed try the 71 or 72 the 73 should have spool mounts on it.

67-69 don't work with the later design sway bar... Gotta be 70....
And to be semi correct on an R/T it should have the skid plate.... Which I'd save off the original K member...

A 73 B body would have spool mounts,....all the E bodies are the same K, 70-4...no spool mounts

I have a nice un-bent super clean 70 Charger "coin" K-member. I'd sell it for $75 but shipping would kill the deal....
I am interested, but need your contact information.

my 70 U code had a skid-plate on it as well...I was baffled by it when I first saw it. Was before moparts...almost at the dawn of the Internet. Sure enough...440 Skid plate. I think 68-69 can bolt in bowever the sway bar mounts are in a different place on the 70. my Sway bar went through the K-Member between the skid plate and the member and bolted to the member by 2 bolts and one bracket on each side..on a 69 the sway bar goes over the front extension to the radiator support and bolts to the lower control arm. I don't see why a 69 wouldn't work, just have to open 2 holes on each side for the front sway bar brackets (if you have sway bar)
