"KIA" ,lol .I think Kia has a big family cuz i usually run into one of his brothers or cousins every time i got to the track .For what its worth im getting low 1.5 60 foots of a Transbrake and low 11 ET's from a set of 47 yearold OE 6 cylinder leaf springs ,hangers ,bushings ,etc ,and im still alive to type this ...
Id be a little iffy on using original leafs in my car after what I did, but my SuperStock springs look bionic. I sheared the main leaf on my original springs right under the front bushing a few years ago. Didnt mess anything up but kinda scary when ya look under there to find out what the banging was all day. I had been looking at everything but the spring eyes. Almost plopped in my LEVI's when I saw it.

Im using old 60's slapper bars as well and the snubbers are preloaded under the spring eyes ,so i figure they are taking the biggest part of the impact .If not im right with the MAN i guess ,lol .Both rear springs are flattened out in the rear BTW .I might take out the guy in the other lane if it does let go someday ,but he signed a release before he got in the other lane with me so i hope he is right with the MAN as well ...

Yeah, them leafs won't work. 600hp, 11.5" tires, no snubber, no cal tracks, 3100 lb car and 1.38 60'. You just got to get YOUR combo worked out. Brian Dunnigan
