I know this is a bit newer but I have a 93 d150 and it just stalled on me while driving...prior to that my cig lighter poppep a fuse...and the window wouldn't go down fast....got it jumped and no directionals or radio played through the speakers...would turn on as if there was bad ground...then it stalled again...the power cable on the positive terminal was slightly lose but still fairly tight....what is going on with this thing ..its never done this?

Sounds like a charging system problem. Get a meter and tell us what the voltage on the battery is without starting the truck. Should be around 12.6V or so. Then start it up and it should be around 13.8V running. If not, your charging system is not working.

13.1 is too low unless the battery is serious under charged and the charging system is trying to bring it up.

Which is why I said to measure the battery without the engine running first.

I would put a charger on the battery and let it charge up fully, then run the voltage checks and see where you are.

As for your directionals, assuming you are using a stock type flasher it requires a decent amount of current flow in order for the flasher to start flashing, low voltage will stop it from working.
