Black is usually ground (-) and orange is usually instrument light power (+) so the orange/red is power and green/black is ground.

orange is face lighting and red is normal battery voltage to power the radio. The green and black wires go to the 2 connections on speaker. Separate ground wire should get attached to radio housing from your 12 volt source.

Got the wire arrangement, makes sense. Thanks. Does the radio ground through the small mounting bracket that holds up the rear of the radio? There doesnt seem to be anywhere else for a seperate ground wire to connect. looks like face power, radio power and neg/positive for speakers only. Four total.

The two mounting bolts that go up into the front of the radio have teeth on the captive washers. Those teeth sould cut into the dash frame and provide a ground.

Radio is also grounded through the outer shield of the antenna wire..

Just my $0.02...
