Ok, Finally got the radio in the cuda this morning. no problems

Plug everything in and go to put the key in and the radio comes on,,before I turn the key cyl to on.
It comes on just by engaging the key buzzer system.

Keep in mind every wire in this car is new M+H .

I thought maybe a shorted key buzzer, but unplugging the key buzzer/relay itself makes no difference

looking at the wiring diag I see nothing where it crosses over from one circuit to the other to cause this,,anyone run across something like this

As with any harness you install, new, used, NOS, repro,...always check the system out before installing,....makes life easier to find problems before they find you,...never assume just because it's New, NOS, M&H,..etc, sh1t happens

Mike,
No kidding.
I pulled the wire for the key buzzer out of the ignition key mold, to ck the accessory wiring circuit and found out I have no power in the key on acc. circuit.

which tells me there is a wire crossed in the harness somewhere
