i am putting a truck pan on my engine and the dipstick now goes in the pan. does anyone sell a plug that goes where the old dipstick goes? ohh its a 440..

I put a truck pan on my stroker and took another member's suggestion. An EMPTY 38 or 357 cartride case is just the right size to tap into that hole.

I just use silicone. Never had one push out.

Just make sure it's a fired case !
And I'm sure there are a few that would do it the other way and never think twice.

then they will be on here asking how to PATCH a hole in the oilpan right after the live shell install.

1/8 pipe tap fits right in, then plug it with brass pipe plug
