there's probably a lot of different "favorites" among us, but for me it's GRP, great product and great service. MGP is right in line with them.......... as for the "how do they live" question, it varies widely based on application.

After the way Bill Miller treated me and my customer when we had a problem with their products, I will never use him again. Ever. GRP has a quality product, supplies product as scheduled, and has a much nicer and closer toleranced product. The weights are much nicer as delivered and fit and finish has been perfect. Good people to deal with.

I really like the GRP rods... plus the material now days gives a longer life span... not like it was years ago when they said 300 passes and it was time for new ones... as said the piston weight and rpm have a major part of the life span of them

GRP, MGP or BME are all top notch. Used each one in the pass and have been happy.
Me too! What he said.

it's nice to see people have a good experience with Bill Miller. they've been less than helpful in my experiemce when their rods split around the bolts while the engine isn't even running. i guess i should be glad it wasn't running. seems to be a common occurence from what i've read.

Something about being torqued while sitting long periods of time.. He says to un torque if motor will be sitting.
When I asked about this.. Got no real answer.. Though I personally have never had a failure with BME.. Over 600 runs with 426 casting.. Just don't like the idea of tearing down while not in use..
So now I use GRP..
