My_70_Fish OP member M Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: 1 Chicago Area	did the lower windshield stainless steel trim piece on a 68 dart convertible have a special clip that screwed to the lower windshield frame and if someone has a pic of that clip.

convx4 super stock Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 710 St Louis, MO 63026	My 69 Dart Gt convertible had a chrome like plastic lower piece that fit in to the lock strip of the black rubber gasket. It was very brittle and broke when I removed it. I ended up using a plastic lock strip from the rear window of a 80's ram charger.

NicksGarage master Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 4,127 Ramona, CA	The 1967 to 1969 Dart and Barracuda convertibles use the plastic trim at the bottom of the windshield that is the stuff used on all the 1967 body styles.

This is correct! And I have read here that Ramcharger lock strip will substitute, but I have not tried it myself. I have used high dollar NOS lock strip, and it shrunk and the mylar lifted after 3 or 4 years, just like the original.
