I got a surprise today. Installed a set of Hooker Comps I had on a 360. The bar going from the shifter linkage over to the bushing on the tranny hits on the top of the header in the middle of the collector. This is a '72 B-body. The bar runs under the torsion bar but not high enough to miss the header. I just plan on using the headers for break-in and replacing them later with shorties. What should I do, take a large hammer to the top of the collector? I knew this could be a problem with some TTI headers but I was not expecting this on these Hookers.
