cageman mopar C Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 685 Bismarck, ND USA	I used a 91 s10 master cylinder, it basically bolted into the rubber boot hole where the old clutch rod went, I just have a 5 speed, thats alot of shifting in my abody, but I spose with a 451, youll be able to pull 6th easy so if geared right, it is basically a 5 speed till you get to the highway. Im not sure on the ratios. Looks good

Im not sure on the ratios. Looks good Yep I pondered other options for the master. The Viper slave has like 1.5" of travel and the Wilwood has 1.2" so we will see. Most have used a 3/4" bore but I havent seen any that didnt have issues so I went with 7/8". Worse case ill either change holes on the clutch pedal or have little pedal throw. The Viper has 2.66 1.78 1.30 1.00 .74 .5 for ratios. I have 4.10s and may switch to 3.90s later. Mopar to the bone!!!

So if a guy already had a 10.5 diaphram setup I guess he could just change discs though. Mopar to the bone!!!

Mind has 3.90's right now and I'm considering going to 4.56's with that .5 to 1 sixth gear. Or I might just leave it alone. Like I said, not as pretty as yours. Yet. Mine also has about 5 inches of set back to it which is why the firewall is cut out like it is. Hopefully I will be able to get into a house with a garage so I can leave the car "in progress" and not have to package it up every time I want to work on it. Makes it hard to work up the enthusiasm to tinker with it. The reasons for setting the engine back are twofold: one is the rear sump canton road race pan which now clears the center link with ease. Two is just better weight distribution for handling. Ought to make for a fun handling car though.
