1980volare OP My man card has just been revoked. 1 Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 582 Dayton, OH	La 318 with magnum heads, can i use a 1.7 roller rocker WITHOUT machining the head for clearance? Has anyone been running 1.7 rockers on there La/Magnum headed engine?

dogdays I Live Here D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 16,376	Guess time: I guess you'll have to open up the pushrod hole on the inside, a higher ratio rocker moves the pushrod towards the center of the cylinder. Whose 1.7s are you running? I have a set of ford smallblock 1.7s and if the ford 1.6s work on a Mag head they might work also. Anyone try this? R.
