My friend's Neon's oil light comes on when he goes around a sharp turn? Any ideas? He changed the oil and filter. It has plenty of fresh oil in it.

most likely an oil pressure switch going bad...you should put a gauge on it and check the pressure

I hate to say this but check the oil again. The only time this happened to me in my '97 is when I only had about a quart left in the pan.

Very common. Does he have a drip from the rear of the enigne? You can usually look up behind the backside of the engine and see oil dripping out of the oil pressure sending unit when it goes bad. Not expensive, but pick up the correct $11.00 sending unit socket to remove and install it while you're at it.
