Replaced power steering pump and new one it is not working properly. It acts like it did not bleed out correctly. I did the 20 lock to lock turns with the motor running like Dodge recommends and used ATF 4+ fluid per the Dodge tech service bulletin. Aren't these pumps supposed bleed internally or ??? Any help would be appreciated.

I had this problem on my 96 Ram 2500, after the 2nd pump it was OK, cheap GM Saginaw pumps?, or cheap rebuilders?....might want to try another brand, I used Cardone first,nothing!...then bought a Duralast rebuilt, bleed out just ideling, no turn to turns of the wheel.....now the pump in my 99 Ram is starting to howl ...winter time of course,...at least the tranny ain't dropping out again,...yet
