Where can you buy plates that can be bolted on a SB Mopar to keep things out of the exhaust ports during storage?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I made mine out of scrape 3/8" plywood, used a gasket to lay it out. It took me 15 minutes to make them for free.

Since someone owned up to it first..............

A smallblock would take a little longer, but I'd make something out of wood or plastic and keep cutting it down until it fits. You could even use a gasket for sealing.

For a big block..........I just hammer a strip of wood against the studs to mark where to drill the holes and it's done.

The usual places have them. Mancini Racing, Hughes Engines, etc.

I must be lazy...for extended storage, if I didn;t plan on opening it up to re-freshen it later, just back off the rockers so there's no pressure on the springs. results in all valves closing, then just slap some tape over the port. anything that does get past the tape can be blown out with an air compressor before you tighten up the rockers again.

I just remove the push rods. Sealed and springs relaxed as well. I don't but you could then put small paper towel or rags to keep crud out of exhaust if it is a concerne. Keeps intake sealed as well tape that off. Seems to simple to me.

I have mechanical Aptitude.
I can screw up anything.
