Stock Hi-perf springs or low perf springs? If it is the stock low perf springs the answer is NO.
You really should use the recommended springs with the cam due to the fast ramp design. The old stock hi-perf springs even new would be very marginable.Just do it right.

Never assume anything with old, and more then likely unknown springs, have them checked for pressure, and go from there. When in doubt go find some new ones.
