Running a transplanted 440 in my 71' Roadrunner. Using the stock 23 spline 4 speed that came with the 383.
Basically look for a good street clutch that will give easier pedal effort and longevity. The stock one in my car right now (still with the original 383) takes some serious leg muscle to operate. Any recommendations?
Was thinking of a stage two style clutch to help with the added power and weight (4000lbs give or take).

I ran McCleods for years.Heavy pedal though.Installed a Center Force dual friction about 10 years ago in my 65 B built 440.Light pedal, hooks great and lasting good. When it needs replaced Ill probally go the same route.Rocky
