So greatful for those who steered me in the direction of the late model Magnum/518 flex plate.
I was a little discouraged last week thinking I had hit a big detour in my engine swap project. When I found out the B&M flex plate was no longer available for the late model Magnum swap onto the 904 I was rocked. I was coming to terms with having to replace the 904 with an A500 but not really. I did not want to put any money into a custom torque converter for the 904 so I was sorta stuck.
But y'all bailed me out. I picked up the bone yard flex plate today and just as I was told it is going to work. I tweeked the one bolt hole and sized up the mini starter and it is a thing of beauty.
The A500 is still in order for this car but this buys me a little time and a chance to get the engine broke in as well as save a little more money.
I know this is a little long but a few short words cannot express how much I appreciate the help I received on this.
A big shout out to HotRodDave and I'll yell at you ASAP.
