Hi,

my friend wants to make a retro look of his 05 Chrysler Town and Country and use american racing smoothies wheels. Would 15inch smoothies fit or would be a problem with brakes etc? He wants 15inch wheels because of the tire with white strip. We are living in Europe and its hard to test fitment prior purchasing :-) Thanks for any suggestion

I have only had a later model Caravan for almost a year now ... but I think that there would be probs with that swap. The offset PLUS the size as you mentioned.... those smaller wheels would probably hit the caliper.

base tires on the LX's and caravan SE's are 15 inchers, so they _should_ work, if you can get the proper offset, which if I had to guess is probably in the +12-24mm range.

AWC does a 15 x 7 with +19mm offset. In dual 5 on 4.5/5.75 that is. Not sure what bolt pattern the FWD stuff is ?

Bolt pattern would do then...

Guess it would also matter though if an aftermarket steel wheel would clear, with the way the drop center area is shaped compared to a run of the mill FWD type wheel ?
