Getting a new shift light and I'm pretty sure where I'll mount it, but want to see where you guys have yours set up.

In the mock up stage, but I'm not putting a tach in the RoadRunner just a shift light. Painted it and the aluminum steering column the factoy blue suede.

That's exactly what I'm doing. Getting rid of my tach and just running a Shift light. Actually a shift light with a digital rpm in it as well, but no more big circle tach.

Looks good guys...thanks

I feel you have more flexibility using a big tach with a shift light. I frequently try different shift points so monitoring rpm once I pull 2nd gear is a big plus for me. I tried the digital tube tach and it was too hard to keep my eyes focused while driving

I didnt want mine to be seen from outside the car(still pulls double duty on the street), so I mounted it on a piece of stainless from the two sheeet metal screws above my ashtray, car has made 350+ passes and hasnt fell off yet!

My shift light was mounted to a rod that came off the pillar bar.

Mine is a street car so I wanted it slightly out of view. Mounted it to the column.
