Can you use a 26" radiator if the stock is set-up for a 22"? If not, does anyone know where to get a quality radiator made that is 22" and will work with the Gen 3 install?

You can buy an aftermarket bracket that allows you to mount the 26" radiator. You can also keep the 22" and have it converted to a 4-core for less $$$ and better results.

Do you know if a 4 core with an electric fan and shroud will have enough clearance in a 67 B-body? Also do you know who makes the bracket?

Thx

The 22" is a 2-core from the factory, having it converted to a 4-core does not change the dimensions at all so if it came stock with the 22" then you are fine. As for the bracket, I see them all the time on e-bag, you can also try those guys in Canada that produce all the repop stuff, can't think of their name right now, sorry...

Here is the bracket:

So a 4 core 22" should cool as well as a 3 core 26"?

As well or better since there is more total area of colling fins, be sure to use some good electric fans to compliment it though. Now if you could upgrade that 26" to a 4-core, that would be the ticket

I have seen the 4 core 22" listed as good for 800 HP. Should be adequate for a stock gen 3 hemi even if I supercharge it later on. Am I off?
