Shot of the rear. Done in single stage black. Need to wetsand and rub the car in a few weeks. Numbers match car with original fender tag. No sheet. I almost bought this car in 1996 when it was in Tennessee, but at the time could not afford it. Cant wait to start putting it together!

WOW that looks good . According to your sig looks like you have the Rainbow in your garage . NICE!!! So single stage gives a better finish but doesn't hold up as well ?

YES,, it does NOT have the UV protectant, that basecoat clear does,, most of your high end cars go or are going this route, since they only get 500-2000 miles per uyear on them
, paint it,, cut it with 800- 1000-on up to 2000-++ up,, then buff it!! yes it looks sick when done,, the rod shop i blast for has done 4 black cars this past 6 months,,, one is factory pontiac light weight race car 64 catalina,(i think), sick

We decided to do that in single stage for a deeper black look. My painter painted badsixpack's black Hemi 70 GTX and it came out rediculous. It is easy to manage as far as buffing, and since it is only going to be a show car, it will not be out in the sun a ton other then a occassional weekend car show. Plus the cost was less. I bought the car as not needing paint, and it was terrible. You could have rolled in on better then it looked. Maaco would have been a better job then the way it was. It now stands tall.
Thanks for taking a moment to explain!
