68-70 (& prob later) HP ex manifolds flow well/fit perfect & Andy made 550 horsepower w them on a 470 build (use dynomax muffs/mandrel bends/X pipe)

What is the cheapest way... This is going to be a fast street car... Please someone help me with this project!
Everyone wants to show you how smart they are and jump in and tell you exactly how to do it. The proper place to start is to know more about you and your circumstances. How old are you. What are your skills. What $ resources do you have. Etc, etc, etc.............

Is there a decent set of headers under $200.00 to make this work or am I stuck with the $600.00 versions? I am just dropping a used engine and trans into this to have a reasonably fast street car. No drag strips in my future.
No , the quick and cheap exhaust is to use HP manifolds unless you can find a cheapy set of used B/E 1 3/4 tube headers , those are said to work with a little

Those are the Schumacher headers, small tube-basically between a manifold and a full lenght header. $525 uncoated per their website.
For some reason I though the schu's were shorter and used a Ball and Socket for the outlet ???
But just looked and you are correct .
