Engine compartment. Sounds like the car will be painted by end of the week. I'm psyched!

To confirm for all interested parties, I am officially an idiot!
I'd posted previously about this being a slant 6 car, and wondering about the engine mount/K member situation. Over the weekend I was out sizing up a V8 K member in a 65 parts car and realized the 62 has already has the same K member in it. Someone prior to me had apparently switched it out, probably at the same time the rear end was changed to a later one. I'd never looked that hard at the K member. So I'm good for engine mounts! Glad I didn't tear the car apart and then figure that out. Ever wished cars could talk? I'd like to know the story this one has to tell.
Progress on the Savoy slowed a bit this week. Body guy installed the passenger front fender and discovered the patched lower section doesn't follow the door line as well as it should, so he's redoing the fender patch. Trunk floor is painted with spatter paint and looks good!

Painted! I'm happy with the color and the work. Needs to be buffed yet, but sure looks better than it did some weeks ago!

Geez you're right it does look like it was carved from butter. I hadn't realized that. It's the pale yellow from a 1962 color card. Same color as the car I recalled from the 60's. Wait till you see it with American black 5 spoke rims and the bumpers back on!
Thanks for the comments guys!

Larry, thank you so much for the kind words regarding Dad. He did love that Coronet.
The Savoy is going back together. I've got some searching to do for side trim though; much of what was on the car was pretty beat up or MIA.
