Hey all,

I need to replace a headlamp assembly on my daughter's 2001 300M. This does not look intuitive at all, as the assembly seems to be nestled under the radiator core support and partially behind the front bumper.

Can anyone offer any tips on this so I don't have to hunt and peck my way through it?

Thanks!

It's just 2 bolts thru the top of the radiator support. The light will come right out IF you can get the bolts out. The bolts are often pre-destroyed and bent at the factory. You might have to get the bolts loosened as best you can, and then pry them out. We have to do it at work all of the time.

Besides the 2 long vertical screws with the 7mm? heads, I believe you at least have to pop a few of those plastic button type plugs from center of nose above grille to move all that stuff away from headlight, far enough to get headlight out of there.
