So a headlight is out on my 68 Satellite and I went to replace it with a generic parts store sealed beam (Canadian Tire brand here in Canada). The replacement gives a 'more yellow' light than the factory sealed beams that came with the car!

I'm going to go out and replace all 4, can anyone suggest a replacement that will give me a whiter, more modern headlight look without going through any more trouble other than plugging in the new lights? (or very simple changes)

I eventually plan on re-doing the lights on all my cars to something better loike HID, but not ready for that quite yet...plus it's winter so I'm dong this in a cold garage, the faster I get it done, the better.

Do no throw away the TT3 headlights that came with the car! Changed all mine in the 69 Charger, and. threw away 3 of them. My parts buddy said they are worth 20-30$ each. My bad.

20-30$ each? Could be worse! Check out this E-bay ad - $329 for 4 T3's.

I agree replace them with Halogens. They go right in and actually draw less amps than the OEs.Wow that much for the OE sealed beams.I have a set of 4 from the 66 Charger that are dated and in good shape.Probally have a set from the 62 300 and my 65 Belvedere also.Rocky

I replaced all 4 with Hellas. Huge, huge improvement. I got them at Gregg Distributors, and I think they're in Saskatoon. Other suppliers should carry them.
