Yeah I just used magnum truck manifolds. Lots of guys from all brands making good power on manifolds. How much power are you trying to make? My iron headed 360 made 470hp to the tire,13psi, Hydraulic roller, non intercooled, with the converter slipping 18%...
Getting the converter fixed and then we'll turn up the boost. Going to make 600hp at the tire, but it might take some water/meth to do it.
thats what i was going to do also is use the truck manifolds just seein gif i had any other options im not trying to make crazy numebers ill be fine with 400-450 do you have any pictures of your set up.

There were pictures on this board, but the "turbo" section got killed recently. Here are a bunch of pics over on theturboforums.com of the build and dyno results. http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/mopar-turbo-tech-forum/updated-turbo-sleeper-(updated-10-16-11)/http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/mopar-turbo-tech-forum/got-my-sleeper-on-the-dyno!/I have to ask though. Are you trying to make 400~450 wheel HP, or Engine HP? The reason I ask is if you're only trying to make 400 Engine HP, I would probably steer you away from the turbo deal. Honestly for all of the fab work it takes, and the parts that nickle and dime you to death, I don't think I'd bother building a turbo motor if you're only trying to make 400hp at the crank. By the time you build the hot side, get the turbo, buy all of the flanges, buy the waste gate, blow off valve, carb hat, convert the carb, etc... It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to build the turbo motor. I think 500 is a more realistic break point for where the turbo really starts to shine. At that point you're starting to get pretty radical with cam/compression/heads/etc to make 500hp at the crank with a small block. All just depends on what you're trying to do though. I'm more then happy to help with info for your build though.

There were a few trucks with the magnum motors in Miliken pick-a-part last time I was there....

i was just being real nice with numbers honestly 500 plus would be nice i just dont know how much a stock motor can tale since my 340 has to much compression for a turbo set up im probably go with a stock bottom end 360 with my cam and top end off my old 340.but the car is my race car and since my old 340 took a crap now im looking to go a different direction and get away from nitrous and do something new...

Honestly it's SOOOO easy to make power with one of these. Mine is nothing special with a cheap turbo thrown on it. Stock crank, stock rods, stock block, iron heads, small cam, etc... it's about as simple of a combo as you could build. Mine made 470hp at the tire with the converter slipping 18%. Makes every bit of 600hp at the crank. And that was with no intercooler, and only 13psi. We'll see if it stays together, but if the ford and chevy guys can do it with a combo like this... so can we. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJSSX6hqo6M&list=HL1325615906&feature=mh_lolz
