How hard is it to swap out the power steering pump (keeping existing reservoir) - any seals that will need replaced ?

Is this on a Peternilt 379, a Porsche Boxster, or a Lotus Elise?

Yep...there is a big O ring for the pump to the body seal, etc

Check rock auto for the seal kit.. (most Mopars are going to be similar type to do the job on even with different styles of pumps.)

Ok, if you're talking Mopar, there were old pumps, really old pumps, and new style pumps on V8s.
V6 and 4 bangers had multiple styles.

Without you mentioning what you're working on it's like playing dentist. We're pulling teeth trying to get answers.

So, help us help you.

WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?

A Lotus Elise perhaps?

Sorry, Saginaw early 70's. I have the "banjo" style reservoir and a good pump from a newer Saginaw with the incorrect reservoir. Just want to swap reservoirs. Pumps are the same. Didn't know how difficult and seals required.
