Modern EFI systems help engines last much longer by controlling the fuel mix. You don't have as much fuel washing down the rings on a cold engine.

You'll probably still have cross hatch on the cylinders. They're machined awesomely from the factory. As long as the pistons aren't broken above the ring lands, I'd run it. Nothing really fails on these stock blocks until you get to about 600rwhp.
