we weighed the front bumper on my 76 duster and it was 94lb.
with the 5lb fiberglass and new mounts it is all around 10LB.
i can not believe how heavy it was.
next year after things get going i will make a pass with the already litened rear metal bumper and see what the traction does before going to fiberglass on the rear.

A front bumper is the BESTest weight savings - for the size and dollar-spent - but 10 lbs for a bumper and brackets is quite heavy.

well we did it sort of fast and the bumper weighs 5lb by its self. so as far as gained et vs weight and money spent this is worth it for me just et racing.
and the front bumper looked like it needed rechromed or replaced anyway.

You might find that Dusters like more rearend weight, not less. Several of the mid/low-10-second ones I know of, including mine, like rear ballast, and those are SB cars.

i am not going to remove the rear bumper that i did liten as much as a torch could till i see if it likes it removed first. i am thinking it will want the battery in the trunk at some point.
