I'd like to polish these wheels, hopefully not by hand. Will having them soda blasted polish them? I'm not looking for a mirror finish just something brighter than how they look now.

I soda blast aluminum prior to polishing, the best your going to get is an "as cast" finish with soda, I generally tumble with SS shot small pcs to get a jump on polishing, but in your case(wheels) tumbling isn't an option, at least the soda blast will clean up the pores of the aluminum, making your polishing job easier

This is what you need, I could do all four in 15 minutes and they would almost look like chrome. They don't need any pretreatment, just a good scrub. Then some Autosol and a wool buffing pad.

Thanks for the replies. I'll give that autosol a try. Would simichrome work as well?

wet sand them first, then polish
