73RoadRunner340 OP member 7 Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 33 Northern Wyoming	Has anyone ever heard of or seen a 71 Coronet 2dr? Its not a super bee either. I just had a guy call looking for a fender for one. I thought all 71 coronets were 4drs. I will try to get some pictures of it. Thanks

NicksGarage master Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 4,127 Ramona, CA	It's kind of tricky but the 2-door Coronets were dropped for 1971 and the Chargers were moved to the Coronet line to take their place. Chargers in 1971 have the the VIN starting with a "W" like the Coronets instead of an "X" like earlier Chargers. It's not much different than it was in previous years since the Charger and Coronet were the same platform with different styling.
