I miss this car It went to NJ in 03. I'd buy it back if I found it..

We did ours with a black vinyl top and no stripe, like it had originally. Challengers look nice with little to no foo-foo, lol.

I like Black Vinyl tops on e-bodies. Especially on bright and/or Hi-Impact colors. Panther Pink and Sublime are nicely off-set by a contracting black top.

Even though some cars look good with a vinyl top I'll never own a car with a vinyl top that doesn't fold down behind the back seat.......

Depends on the color of the car......mine has black vinyl on steel blue, looks better than solid blue, but black, or white look better without.

i am getting ready to restore my 70 challenger rt B5 blue, black interior, black top, car,383/ 4 sp matching #, and i dont know if i want a black top or not. or what stripe i would put on it.

I like black vinyl tops only on dark colors. Vinyl tops on bright colors are OK only with side stripe and hood treatment V21.
Dark stripes on bright body colors and bright stripes on dark body colors...

I voted for the vinyl top but didn't vote on the stripe since "no stripe" was not a choice. I am not a fan of stripes of any type on cars. Two of my cars have them and if it weren't for the fact that the cars originally came with the stripes, I would have taken them off years ago.

Here is a pic of mine with a vinyl top. Made a huge difference with the looks of the car.
