C.A. you'll need the following items to convert a second gen Charger, a rear window plug, the glass/mouldings, Charger 500 trunk hinges and lid, A pillar mouldings, a 68 Coronet grille assy, and Charger 500 fender fillers, and gille mounting brackets,,,I offer the rear window plug in steel ($2300) as does Jack mcGaughey (www.wingcarfab.com), I also offer the trunk hinges in steel, as original (.125 wall thicness as OEM) I also offer trunk lid conversion, as does Jack McGaughey, I also offer the fender filler/grille bracket conversion pcs in steel as original, the A pillar mouldings are avaliable from either Eric Nelson, or Larry O'Donnel, currently the rear glass is no longer avaliable, when it was it retailed for $900,...currently used pcs fetch upward of $1500, rear window moulding conversion is avaliable from me, or used originals can be sourced, usually they fetch $500 to $1000 for a set....the required pcs to perform a conversion will set you back anywhere from $3500 to $5000 depending on your sources, and or level of completeion/conversion of the transformation, plus your starting with a 70 Charger, so ypu'll need to source from used/NOS/AMD a complete 69 Charger nose assy, 2 fenders, hood, valance, and both header brace assys, as well as a set of used/nos 68 Coronet headlite bucket assys

Mike, I thought you were not selling conversion/restoration parts anymore? Tim
Tim, i just no longer maintain the website, mag ads, or flyers/catalogs....did that for a few years, not my bag dealing with the endless "tire kickers"...I'd rather deal with whole car conversions, than piece by piece sales, which is fine when I have additional stock kicking around then I'll advertise those pcs for sale, but being off the "grid" allows me to limit my work at my pace thru referal or solicitation

If not can you help me find someone that does? I'm looking at making a drag car so fibreglas would be fine, even a one piece lift off or tilt front end with a lift off hood

C.A.....yes I offer the parts required to convert a 2nd Gen Charger to Daytona specs, but....my pcs are geared towards more OEM fit/finish.....if your building a true race car, your more into the appearance rather than fit/function of a "street" vehicle, you could still reap some of the aero benefits from fiberglass race style componets,...about the only company or pcs I'd recommend for building a racecar would be Stinger Fiberglass( Stinger and AAR fiberglass are merging into one company, as of recent), they offer a complete Daytona fiberglass kit, as well as 70 Charger fiberglass fenders (required for the conversion).....the fiberglass pcs offered by myself or Janek are heavier in weight than the Stinger items, plus more expensive, the Stinger parts are great for a race car based on weight/price, and the quality isn't really bad for fiberglass, you will have some fitment to perform, but nothing too major...avoid www.Showcars (Canada) Daytona fiberglass kit, that's just money down the drain

Any chance of getting contact info on you and Stinger? PM me if you want or post it on here,Thanks for the help Cab
C.A. you can contact me here on Moparts (PM), ..... Stinger can be reached at www.stingerfiberglass.com
here's their entire kit for $2500...not a bad deal, they also offer other Charger fiberglass products, depending on how much of a weight diet you put your car on...
