Can be considered cheep insurance. The head bolts are under a lot of stress so probably should be replace. I have reused them in the past but this is on a street driven car that was not driven hard.

Yep... I have reused them before... even on race engines that dont run a big compression.... intake bolt just re use they dont have any problem with the torque they are at

Last sets on head bolts I bought were MPs.I think the BBs were like 14 bucks and SBs were about 20.New rebuilds so I went new for the price.Intakes reuse.I went Stainless when I put the aluminum heads on the 440.Rocky
