Anyone know off the top of their head what these wheels need to be torqued at? Can't seem to find any info on their site.

Much thanks!

Torquing them? Back in the day, do you think anyone with Cragar SS's actually used a torque wrench or torque sticks on an impact gun on SS's?

If you are worried, do them by hand. I would assume about 80-90 ft lbs for a rim.

Personally, I wouldn't even give it a second though to use an impact gun with just a socket or tighten them by hand as tight as I could get them. They aren't aluminum or fragile fancy rims...

Who torqs rims? I always just go as tight as I reasonably can by hand and go.

you need to TORQUE them , especially on an A body , the nuts for the SS are VERY FRAGILE , I used 4 way putting them on a friends 67 barracuda with 7/16 studs and SNAPPED 3 lug nuts , spec on the 7/16 fine thread is 55 ft/lb ....

LOL, No. I scored a new set of SBP Cragars for the Scamp. My old ones were really starting to show their age. Lots of rust and peeling.

I was always told you don't want to over tighten the Cragars which is why I asked. Just figured I'd do something the right way for once rather than just tightening the crap out of everything.
