Looking for a reputable vendor that sells dynamat or something of the sort for cheap.

Or, a Home Depot equivalent, which I've heard of, but can't remember the name of.

What do you guys do?

thanks
Darren

The Summit branded mat I bought was Hush Mat and well priced.

I use the reflective roll insulation made for walls and floors from Lowe's... Cheap and works very well.. I would suggest a can of 3m spray adhesive though..

Darren,

Contact a place called Dalfen Auto in Mississauga, Ontario. They sell rattle trap/fat mat. 200 sq ft for like $100. I have purchased many rolls of stuff from them for various vehicles. It is a tar and tinfoil type of stuff. Does a great job and from what I have found, exactly the same as the Dynamat (did a vehicle once in Dynamat as well).

Here is the link: http://www.dalfenauto.com/

And how does it rate against a "purpose built type" dynamat product?

Any one with a comparison......?

My buddy set me on to it... he has it in his 52 ford
P/U and we've run drag week the last few years and I
thought it was pretty darn good for being light weight...
thats why I put it in my Rampage... the big dollar
stuff is probably better but I dont want the weight
and I dont need the big dollar price tag... if you
look at most of them they give you a fairly small
piece for $25... I think I spent $22 and had plenty
left over
