I have parts for machines black anodized from time to time... It's a cool look.. But allot of the trim on these cars is Stainless & can't be anodized... Back in the eighties a guy I knew blacked out his trim using wide electrical tape.. He originally did it just to see if he liked the look & figured if he did he could paint the trim... Turned out the tape worked really well, if it got damaged you just peel it off & retape... Get tired of the look peel it off & clean the trim up... Just a thought..

The trim around the rear windows on the Ramcharger is aluminum, the trim around the windshield is stainless. I think Im going to see abou anodosing the grille, and the rear window trim.

sand and paint the windshield trim.

I love the look of black or bronze anodized trim .For stainless I would blast ,etch prime then paint or powdercoat.

Thats NOT a bad idea! Pretty grassroots/shadetree (avoiding the term redneck) but not a bad idea at all. Easily repairable, reversable.

The grill Im going to have the main chell done black, then leave some center parts the factory chrome, and then the small center lines in the grill itself are going to be red like the cudas were back in the day.

Should look pretty trick.
