I have done some net searching for replacement vinyl for a 70 Sport Suburban wagon. So far nothing that is a clear mopar application. Am going to send for some samples but wonder if anyone has a source. My wagon has woodgrain on the body panels as well as in the middle of a wide lower body molding. They are two different colors with the body lighter than the molding. Getting ready to get the front fender extensions replaced and they do have the vinyl on them.

That's a tuff find, I doubt if anyone repros SW woodgrain, NOS is probally your only choice if you want a match, if your just looking for woodgrain (automotive grade) and want to make your own decals, Trim-Brite (makers of auto decals/trim/moldings) carries a sheet of heavy vinyl woodgrain, very dark in color, and very nice looking, very realistic grain and texture, the sheet/roll is 24" wide by 25 feet long, it is sold as station wagon woodgrain, I generally use it for redoing dashes and consoles, door panels in Mopar restorations, as it matches the grain and color very nicely,....if interested I could send you a sample to see if it's what you want?,..just PM me your shipping address, I'll send you a sample....a 24"X25 foot roll is approx $75 available thru your local auto parts store that carries Trim-Brite products, or believe it or not JC Whitney. & CO.

There are hundreds if not thousands of variations in quality/color/manufacturer.

search for automotive vinyl decal wood-grain film (3M, Avery-Dennison, etc.)

here's the first site that showed up "stripeman"

question 5 on FAQs on stationwagon.com

I had a 70 SF that color. We nicknamed it the Great Pumpkin. Awesome to see another one that color - especially a wagon!
