I like it! Please keep the pictures coming, particularly of the rear quarters as I need to do the same to mine. Best of luck with the car!

It's tempting to leave the stick, but the car has the original engine and is very early build car.Aug 19 Also have the tag and build sheet. Most of my cars with the exception of my current car have been stock. Even has most of the factory marking present. Dave

Cool project, nice job on the quarter panel detailing! Must have been converted to a 4 speed car for quite some time?
Thanks, It has a 69 trans in it with full VIN,I'll think I'll post the number up in the lost and found and see if anyone needs it for their car. Dave

WOW, that's some serious work you are doing. Looks great. I agree with Scott, I like the way you finished the new quarters. Not boring to me either. I love looking at how people attack and conquer problems. Keep up the good work.

Finished up the rear sheet metal almost, just some minor thing left. Got into the engine, not good. Looks like it has held some water in it. Hopefully 30 over and new pistons will take care of it but there might be a crack some where also. Dave

We are getting close to primer on the underside and was thinking about the coating for the bottom. Full paint or factory look. There are pluses to each. Full paint is easier to clean, factory is well factory. Both have a cool look in there own way. Whatcah think?

To take care of your concern about the ease of cleaning, what I plan to do on mine is to spray the grey colour, do the overspray patterns in your body colour and then spray a matt clear over everything. That will give you the factory look plus should be easy to wipe down.

I used Speedliner bed coating to do them. Narrow pattern in a bodyshutz gun, varying coats to make the heavier sections. Thanks on the Chally Dave

How happy were you with the speedliner? Where did you get yours from?
I am very happy with Speedliner, but we spray it here. You may be better off buying the Resto rick product if you are doing it yourself. Dave

Great, make us all look bad! You took a roached out runner to rotisery painted in four months. Your going to give bodymen a bad name. We give them cars that don't need panel replacement and it takes them years to finish! Seriously that is going to be one sharp roadrunner!

Today was the big day, back from alignment and spent the day test driving. A few things still need done but all are minor. Waiting on the correct radiator and a few small detail parts. It's been fun and hope to get more drive time before winter puts it in storage. Here are a few older pictures until I can get some out door pictures. Dave
