It has taken me all day to absorb and try to deal with this information.
This is very shocking and sad news.
What more could I possibly add.
I met Gary at the Nats a few years back.
One of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet.
Gary set goals for his car and as we all watched and encouraged, he far surpassed them.
He and his car surely were the "best in class".
He is in a better place now and I'm sure in some way he is still watching.
God speed Gary, we will meet again.
My prayers go out to his family.

What an unbelievable thing to hear.
I am at a loss for words while typing this right now. I can only state that I echo ALL the thoughtful and sympathetic wishes that have been posted above.
He was truly the great person that everyone has described, and I am so thankful that I got to meet and know him over the last few years.
Our sincerest condolences to his family.

Boy, how depressing can a week get.

I never met Unlawfl, but I respected him.

Gary was helpfull to me many times and even let me get away with too much once in a while in his moderators duties here at Moparts. I am deeply saddened and my heartfelt condolences are extended to his family and friends, including us here on the board. I already miss him.

I am deeply saddened by the news of his loss.

Like many others, I only knew of Gary through the posts and replys he made on this board.
From all those posts and replys I was able to see that what a really nice person Gary was with a great sense of humor (example.. his avitar which cracked me up everytime I saw it) I also realized that he would do anything to help another in need.

The Mopar Community.. No...Check that.... The whole world lost a great person who will be dearly missed.

God bless you Gary ... Rest In Piece.

I found this thread about 2 hours ago and I'm still dazed. What can I say about Gary that hasn't been said? I never met him in person. He answered several questions for me. He sold me his distributor when he bought a new billet unit. We spoke on the phone a couple of times for that. NICE GUY! My experience of Gary was 110% positive. He was the good guy that has a positive influence on those lives he touched. When I saw his name on a post, I always read it. It was worthwhile. Guys like Gary lift us up. I'm sad he's gone, but I will revell in his excellence and the mark he left on the world. My condolences to his immediate family and friends, and to his Moparts family.

Unbelievable. I never met the man but thought of him, his car and his hospitality and generousity towards others who shared his love of cars.
The lord works in mysterious ways.
Rest in peace, Gary.

What can you say.... never knew him, but always held him in high regard, as he seemed to be the kind of person everyone should be.

A terrible, terrible loss - Gary was always a help to members here and brought a special kind of wisdom. [edit: My father told me I would know a great man by what he left behind, not by what he had - seeing what all who have posted in this thread have said there can be no doubt that we were blessed to have whatever time we had with a truly great man.]

Prayers to his family - Rest in peace Gary.

This is truly a tragedy. I didn't know Gary that well, but I did have the pleasure of meeting him in person a couple times, last August at the 'Nats on Brice Road with 10secGTX and SunroofGTX, and again in September at the Norwalk Chrysler Classic. What a great person he was, and what a great loss. Its amazing to read all these posts and how he touched so many people. God bless you, Gary.

I, like everyone else am completely floored and blown away by this, gary was the greatest guy, and went out of his way to help me. When i was building my first bigblock, he had a set of valvesprings for sale i needed, i emailed him and asked if hed be willing to go any easier on the price for a poor high school kid doing this on his own dime, jokingly for the most part, and he agreed to it ... it was evident in his posts that he was easy going and a great guy, I will never forget him, RIP Gary, you will be truly missed, i cant believe this is happeneing again, i just got the new RIP decals made for my best friend, and now this ...
