I have a 74 360 with a Saginaw "ham can" style pump, and I wondered if I could put a chrome Chevy pump with the same body on it. I know it's a sin to put a non Mopar part on a Mopar, but please, don't hate. Just wondering if anyone's done it, and what's involved. Thanks Moparts!

Are you talking about switching the "can" resivour with a chome one. But keeping the actual pump in the center.

Look if the chevy chrome can is punched for holes in the same place as the chrysler. I think it will be.

The big issue in my experiance is the direction and length of the return pipe. Sometime it can point right into a bracket or into something on the frame. You can bend it some and cut it.
