Is the coating worth it? is it durable? how does it live in a humid envoroment?

does it really put some of the heat at bay?

Or should I just get the plain steel ones?

Yes it is worth it big time. Huge difference with it. Both my cars have it inside the headers and vapor lock is no more with them. Makes em last longer too.

yes it is. i would follow their directions on winter time storage. w-d where the tubes merge to the collector. i didn't do that to mine & they rusted. they also mention to put plastic down on the floor to keep moisture off them. stay safe, seeya.

Definitely worth it. You will not regret spending the extra money for it. I have 2 sets of coated TTI headers. One set bought in 2003, the other set bought in 2006. Both still look good. Not new, but good.
