I never seen those seats in a Gran Coupe. I had three 71 Gran Coupes, two had the leather, which were sweet looking seats, one had vynal with cloth inserts. I didn't know there were any vynal seats offered in the Gran Coupes. Learn something new everyday!

Cool find, again Ryan! Those seats will be great cores. Sweet ride. Check on top of the glove box liner for a build sheet also. Did you sell the Satellite yet?

Nothing attached to the glove box. Still have the satellite ragtop for now but it will to go as I'm going to need to pay off the loan I took out for this car.

Ryan, there was a guy in Connecticut that was stamping the louvers into fenders to turn Barracuda fenders into Cuda fenders. I think it was J&J automotive,IIRC. He also has a blue and white 340 Cuda convertible.

I think I got the bad end of the deal. Should have been spending more time looking for the one Ryan got and less time driving across the country to pick up that one.... Well at least mine still has original paint.

This is got to be one of the rarest that I've owned and I dont see it going any where for as long as I live. I plain on detailing it up and driving the wheels off of it. It'll be a perfect driver.

That is one we pulled out of Buffalo. I bought if for the convertible wheel caps and a rain gutter area. Did not have the heart to turn it into a soda can. So we plopped it on the shelf. Here it is on the way home from picking it up. Ryan's was a little more fun and easy picking up.

Ahhh. I am with you now. If I was younger and richer I may give it a shot Rick. But it is much easier driving my clone around and just walking in the garage to see the Cuda on the shelf. Ok, Mark. I will go out and get a photo. Tetanus shot required for this next photo. Came out of the same yard the Sassy Cuda came from. 1971 Challenger Ragtop. Butterscotch 318 car. Or atleast it was. Believe it or not the convertible structural parts are very nice. Trim around window is perfect as well.

I'll be adding the white billboard to my 71 this week along with the chin spoilers and hood pins. I'm also putting the white billboard stripe on the bronze cuda. The bronze cuda is a real billboard car as well but with proof.
That looks very similar to the one my friend is selling. His is a numbers matching 340 auto with build sheet and fender tags present. Some original paint but could use a restoration.

As hard as it was to put it up there; I do not see it coming down for quite some time.

Thanks, it detailed up pretty well. I gave it a good cleaning, new billboard stripe, chin spoilers, rocker molding, wheel lip molding, hood pins, newer bumpers, new carpet, gas tank and sending unit. Now I need to install new tti exhaust, and detail the ralleys up and install my new F60 polyglas tires. I've also got to install new white legendary seat covers. In a couple of weeks I'll be able to pick up my original back seat for it, I can hardly wait to see if my build sheet is in it.

Hey Rick, you think that clutch will hold up to me in the passenger seat. I am pretty rough on clutches... but I am good for weight transfer. That doesn't mean I will ride in the trunk though. Looking good Rick.

Do you guys think I should put my new polyglas tires on the 15" ralleys or black steel rims? I've got the correct centers on the back ralleys and have the correct ones for the front as well but just havent put them on yet. I will need to pick up a set of correct trim rings for it if I decide to go with the ralleys. I think it originally came with ralleys.

Thanks, I love it way more then any other car that I've ever had by far. Going to start a second job so I can get extra cash to buy some new parts for it. Things that I want to do..... -going to have an original radio gutted out for Ipod hook up -new speakers -new exhaust (tti) -new front fenders (AMD) -install white seat covers -install carpet -new rear door panels -new top -space savor and jack stuff, trunk mat -clean up engine bay and detail with correct clamps, and hoses. -rim blow wheel -shifter boot -wheel trim rings -new engine harness.......
Oh man, its going to be in a 1000 pcs come spring ! Awesome car, I picked up a 383 4 speed 70 Cuda vert last year. Verts are a whole different animal. I know it wasn't on your wheel list, but I think magnum 500s look awesome on b5.

Put the new carpet in over the weekend and it came out great. I did however find out that my car was not a factory console car. The brackets were riveted in. I was very happy to see how solid the original floors were. I've decided to keep it as correct as I can and kept the console out of it.

Have you contacted Bill Rolack (I think that is his name) about the car? He has run the 71 'Cuda convertible registry since the eigthies and maybe he has some information on it. Bummer that the FT and BS sheet are missing but at least you have the VIN tag. Like you said, you have no plans to sell.

How long ago did he register it? I have a buddy with a 71 cuda conv that he has owned since 1981. I had a GB5 71 'Cuda a few years back. It had a body colored front grille.

LOVE this picture! Is that a GK6 340 Cuda? Def the ralleye wheels with the Goodyears, Just put them on my Cuda. The price was a shock until they were on the car, then it all went away!

Yup GK6, I'm detailing the engine bay in that one right now.
thats pretty awesome! Looks like a handful in that garage! Like the crushed artwork also. I have an A12 Superbee liftoff hood that lifted off going down the track hanging on my wall, i thought that was cool til I saw the whole car!

Congrats on the kid. I sold a semi survivor 69 A12 Black 4 speed road runner so I could make and prepare for my son. Also had to sell my 09 Challenger R/T classic B5 six speed car for a 4 door baby cruiser. Welcome to the club!

Ryan you and your brother are in the Top 10 Mopar Hounds I know. You always find one cool Mopar after another. My kids are starting to get older but I always managed to have a cool car or two or three.....around. Congrats on the upcoming child and the best of luck. You sure made that Cuda look great in a short amount of time I am looking forward to your next "find" Dave
