Yes I should "read all about it" But I am still deciding what to do. Just sold my 2G Hemi and now thinking about a 3G hemi. Thinking about a 5.7 with a good bottom end and cam. Then eventually head work, but not now. 73 Chally with no weight reduction, manual trans, 354 Dana 100% street driven. So what would your recommendation be? Oh yeah, single turbo, maybe 15PSI boost, charge cooled (AtoA, or Meth/Water...undecided) Thanks Curt
Oh yeah...THAT'S gonna leave a mark!

I wouldn't choose to cut my car to run a 5" dp personally, and I didn't. Especially on a 100% streetcar. A Precision 76HPS is 'rated' to 1200 horse and weighs about 19lbs, and will be happy with a 3.5" dp at reasonable hp levels. Be realistic. 7-800 horse is a TON for a streetcar. More than an 833 will live long behind. It's WAY easier to package a 20lb T4 turbo than a 50lb T6 S400, especially if you don't want to hack your inner fenders out. It will also spool lots faster with a .96 turbine than a 1.32 on an S400, making for a much more fun streetride.
At a certain point the T4 flange will become a restriction, but at the 345" range your discussing, I'd stay smaller framed. Granted, GOOD small turbo is going to be a bit more money, but it's worth it in the end.
11.48 @ 120 with a 1.80 60' 318, stock 1.88 heads, stock 904, Pump Gas, 13 lbs of boost.
9.94 @ 134, 318 on pump gas, 14 lbs w/ Eddies, transbrake 727, 3600 lbs, 3.54 gear and 28's.

Yeah a 5" downpipe with A/C hook-up would be pretty tight and hot I am sure. When do we start running into pressure ratio problems. Sounds like a lot of airflow for a 3.5" pipe though. Or is it really a non issue with just 15-16 PSI boost? Thanks Curt
Oh yeah...THAT'S gonna leave a mark!

That's a tough question to answer, most guys say around 360" or so... Check this combination out... 86 Mustang GT. Dart Iron Eagle 347cu, Wilburt Street Heats, Fast XFI, Precision 78GTS turbo, TH400. http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=108757.0790hp, 698tq, 5800rpm @17lbs / E85
