Ok guys I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on buying a striker kit. I have elected to go with the Mancini 493cid kit.( It's 30over) I was kinda wondering what toy guys might suggest in the cam department and when it comes to intake carb and that sort of thing. Also are there any structural safety inhancments I should make to assure I don't kill myself. Heres the situation: the car is a 72 challenger that currently has a 383 in it. It also has a stock 727 with 323 sure grip. It would be nice to know what parts can be reused from my old motor too. I have stealth heads on my 383. They will now be going on the stroker in addition to my aluminum water pump housing and billet aluminum neck housing. I also already have a deep sump oil pan and pick up. Distributed suggestions are welcome too. The goal is a street friendly animal with at least 500-550 go and torque at the wheels. Any suggestions and opinions are very much appreciate as long as they are positive, thanks guys.

This might be the build that is being referred to.

496 street motor for a '69 Charger

No, that wasn't it. Here it is.

383 to 496 stroker from 440 Source with dyno results

The first one will get closer to the rear wheel HP & TQ goals.
